Tammy Fernando is the author of Lost Until the Light Comes: her second book in a 6-part-series of Christian fiction books for young children. Tammy is excited and honoured that the Lord has asked her to embark on a career in writing and to have the opportunity to guide children to the heart of God. She does this by emphasising the need for a personal relationship with our Creator-God and by showing little ones that the Holy Trinity are continually present and always helping us. These are two things she feels the Lord wants her to convey to children.
Outside of writing, Tammy enjoys baking for friends, family. She also enjoys the creativity and buzz she finds whenever she gets the chance to sing or dance.

The Books –
Life is sweeter with friends, but Chris is struggling to make one. A new girl shows up in his class, but whenever Chris tries to talk to her, he can barely speak. Just when friendship looks impossible, Chris finds the courage he needs. A must-read for shy little ones.”
Chris is on a trip with his family and friends when he gets lost in the woods. What will he do? Lost Until the Light Comes teaches children that God is always with us and will help us when we pray. Children will also see how each member of the Trinity cares for us.

Chris’ school is putting on a Nativity play for Christmas, and Chris really wants to play the part of Joseph. But when Chris gets hurt, he must trust God’s plan. With illustrations by the award-winning Kim Merritt, 'The Road to Joseph' reminds us that God always keeps His promises.
