Tammy Fernando has shared her passion for faith-filled storytelling and community engagement through events. Here are some recent highlights:

Tammy's first public event, The Joseph Event (April 2024), was a joyous and fun-filled day at her home parish, St. Edmund's of Canterbury RC Church Hall. The event featured activities for children, including voting for book titles, a Secret Suggestions box, a carpenter helping children make wood curls, music, food, and book sales. It was an incredible start to Tammy's journey of connecting with the community, and the joy was palpable.

In May 2024, Tammy participated in the Catholic Mother's Conference at St. Francesca Cabrini Convent in London. The event provided a nurturing and prayerful environment for Catholic mothers. Tammy had a stall where she showcased her picture books while connecting with attendees.

In July 2024, Tammy hosted The Joseph Event (2) at Holy Innocents RC Catholic Church Hall in Orpington. Building on the success of the first event, Tammy engaged with families through fun activities and giveaways, and finalized the title for her new book, The Road to Joseph, with the help of the community.

Most recently, in September 2024, Tammy participated in the Celebrate Joy conference at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School in Birmingham. She had a table selling her books and also participated in the conference itself, finding spiritual inspiration as she worshipped alongside other attendees.
